About This Policy

Simplaful (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates a suite of business productivity applications including eTimesheet (etimesheet.net), Invoicily (invoicily.net), and Peepaly, collectively the “Simplaful Platform” or “Services.” This Privacy Policy applies specifically to Invoicily.

1. Who We Are

Simplaful is operated by Show 4 Reel Media Pty Ltd, based in New South Wales, Australia. For privacy enquiries, contact privacy@simplaful.com.

2. Information We Collect

• Invoice, quote, and estimate data: business details, customer details, line items, tax settings, and payment details you enter. When you are signed out, this is stored only in your browser's localStorage. When you are signed in, it is also synced to our hosted database (see Section 4).
• Account information: if you create an account, your email address is stored with Supabase Auth, which handles sign-in and authentication data on our behalf.
• Support communications: our contact and support form is provided by Typeform and may collect the message and contact details you choose to submit.
• Automatically collected information: standard web request information such as device and browser type.

3. How We Use Information

We use this information solely to operate and improve Invoicily and to respond to support requests. We do not sell your data.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Invoicily works in two modes:

• Signed out: your documents, business profile, customers, saved line items, and settings live only in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Signed in: your business profile settings (business name, contact name, email, phone, address, tax number, payment details, and logo), your customers, your saved line items, and your full invoice, quote, and estimate documents — including customer names, email addresses, and addresses — are synced to our hosted database.

Our database is hosted on Supabase in the ap-northeast-2 region (Seoul, South Korea). Because Simplaful is operated by an Australian entity, this means your personal information is stored outside Australia.

5. Hosting and Server Logs

This website is hosted on Netlify. Netlify processes standard web request data — such as IP addresses and user agents — in server logs as part of delivering the site. We do not control how long Netlify retains these logs. [CONFIRM: Netlify log retention period]

6. Cookies and Local Storage

See our Cookie Policy for details. In short: we use browser storage for essential functionality only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Accessing and Deleting Your Data

Signed-in users can delete individual documents within the app at any time. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, contact us through our support form or email privacy@simplaful.com.

8. Children's Privacy

Invoicily is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

9. Your Rights

Because your invoice, quote, and estimate data lives in your own browser, you control it directly — clearing your browser storage deletes it, and you can export or print your documents at any time. Australian users: Simplaful handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Contact privacy@simplaful.com to raise a concern.

10. Security

Any information you submit through our support form is transmitted securely. Since your business and customer information is stored locally, we recommend keeping your device and browser secure.
